The BattPAT is a simple to use, portable battery-powered PAT tester that is an ideal product for use in low volume PAT testing applications such as retail, the leisure industry, offices, hotels, schools, nursing homes, factories, construction sites and many other similar areas. Fully certified for use on appliances as well as IT equipment, the BattPAT provides the user with simple PASS/FAIL indication of testing results, making it easy for beginners to understand if an appliance has passed testing procedures or not. This indication is shown via built-in LED lights on the front of the tester.

The main interface of the BattPAT is easy to understand and simple to operate. All tests are assigned to specific labelled buttons for ease of use and the device also includes a standard three-pin plug port and an IEC connector port for attaching cables to the testers. The buttons on the front of the tester activate the four available testing functions: class I, class II no earth, class II and cables (the no earth function allows testing of items such as fans and document shredders). This PAT tester also includes the ability carry out long lead testing and is also fully suitable for testing IEC extension cables. The BattPAT runs on rechargeable batteries.
